It can mess with your schedule and there is no reason to lose a precious day of traveling because of yesterday’s drinking mistakes.

While you are at your favorite bar, drinking, dancing and singing with your new friends, try to remind yourself to not mix more than 3 different alcoholic beverages if you don’t want to have a rough day the next morning.

The best way of getting rid of a hangover is by sleeping it out, so try to give your body enough time to recover from that rough night.
You should also upgrade your air conditioner to make sure your room is ventilated and fresh, so you don’t wake up sweaty and feeling worse than before going to bed. If your vacation is somewhere in a hot climate, this is a must.
You should take advantage of the culture of the places you are staying in, so try and find a traditional natural remedy. In the UK Berocca is known for settling headaches while in Morocco it is said that eating a few prickly pears while making you feel better. In Italy, locals cure their hangover with a strong espresso, and in China, they use green tea.
There is a specific remedy for every country, so try and ask the locals about it and it might save you from that nasty hangover!
Drink Pedialyte, Gatorade, or Resqwater because these drinks have a high electrolyte intake, which is highly valuable for your body after a long night of drinking.
If you happen to be traveling by car while you feel the atrocious effects of a hangover, try to stay in the front seat. This alleviates motion sickness and improves the chances of you not getting even sicker.
Get some fresh air
Sometimes the last thing you feel like doing is going outside while hungover, but this might actually help you the most! First of all, you must listen to your body, and if you feel capable of going out that day, you should definitely get over your laziness and do it!
Skip your normal schedule and do not go visiting any museums, but rather chill out under a shady terrace, or in a park, and wait for your body to regain its powers. Don’t force yourself into staying in the sun or in a very cold place because that might make your symptoms even worse.
